KLEENBOT C40 autonomous cleaning robot for hotels and large facilities

Autonomous scrubbing and sweeping to free up hours of repetitive cleaning, cover large areas and measure operational return from the very first pilot.

The C40 in action

The KLEENBOT C40 is the best-selling autonomous cleaning robot in the KEENON range, designed for facilities with areas over 500 m². In a single pass it combines sweeping and scrubbing: it collects solid debris, applies clean water to the floor and vacuums the dirty water into separate clean- and dirty-water tanks, avoiding leaving the floor wet and slippery. Its 360º LiDAR navigation system builds a map of the space during installation and updates it in real time if it detects obstacles or furniture changes. It runs in programmable cycles: it can start at 2 a.m. when the hotel is quiet, complete its route through the lobby, floor corridors and pool area, return to its charging dock on its own and be ready for a second shift. In hotels of 150 to 250 rooms, the C40 can cover all common areas in under 3 hours of continuous, unsupervised operation.

Sectors where the C40 makes the difference

Hotels

Lobbies, floor corridors, pool and spa areas: the C40 keeps common areas clean overnight without disturbing guests' rest.

Hospitals and clinics

Critical hygiene in corridors, waiting rooms and common areas. Its noise level below 65 dB allows it to operate on night shifts without disturbing patients.

Shopping centres

Large premises with thousands of people passing through daily. The C40 schedules multiple shifts and adapts its route to the dirtiest areas.

Care homes

Autonomous cleaning that respects residents' schedules. The robot works during quieter periods without interfering with the facility's routine.

Airports and terminals

Continuous operation in high-traffic areas. The C40 detects people moving and avoids them, keeping cleaning uninterrupted.

Logistics and warehouses

Industrial units and restocking aisles with high-wear floors. The C40 maintains cleaning standards with minimal intervention from the maintenance team.

C40 usage scenarios

Guidance examples based on common operating patterns. Attributed customer testimonials will be added only with verifiable client authorization.

H

Scenario - urban hotel. A C40 can cover the lobby and floor corridors during early-morning shifts, freeing the human team for areas that require manual intervention and supervision.

C

Scenario - private clinic. With a noise level below 65 dB, a C40 can take over night cleaning of corridors and waiting areas without disturbing patients.

Illustrative scenario, not a customer testimonial.
R

Scenario - shopping mall. Several C40 units can split a mall across map zones, keeping full cleaning coverage with minimal maintenance-team intervention.

Frequently asked questions about the KLEENBOT C40

The questions we get before deploying a C40. If you can't find yours, message us on WhatsApp.

Can the C40 clean carpeted floors or rugs?

The KLEENBOT C40 can work on short-pile carpet up to 10 mm in dry mode (sweeping, vacuuming and dust mopping) thanks to its triple-brush system with dry-wet separation. Wet scrubbing is intended for hard floors only (marble, tile, vinyl, epoxy, granite). If your facility combines carpet and hard floors, the robot switches modes by map zone, with no component changes.

What happens if the dirty-water tank fills up during operation?

The robot detects the tank level in real time. When it reaches 90% of its capacity, it pauses cleaning, returns to its emptying dock (if installed) or sends an alert to the management panel so the operator can empty it. Once emptied, it resumes the route from where it left off.

Can the C40 clean several different areas in a single shift?

Yes. During installation, independent cleaning zones are defined (lobby, floor corridors, pool area, etc.) and scheduled in the order and timing that best suits operations. The robot moves between zones autonomously following the programmed sequence.

How long does the initial mapping of a hotel take?

Initial mapping depends on the area and complexity of the space. In mid-size hotels (1,000 to 3,000 m² of common areas), the full mapping and configuration process is completed in 1 to 2 working days. Alpha Robotics handles the entire installation and commissioning process, included in the service.

Does the C40 detect people moving and stop automatically?

Yes. The 360º LiDAR system and ultrasonic sensors detect moving obstacles, including people, and the robot slows down or stops and finds an alternative route. It never collides with people or furniture. Navigation safety is certified under CE regulations.

Does the C40 need constant supervision during cleaning?

No. Once the map and routes are set up, the robot can start its cleaning cycles on schedule, avoid obstacles, alert you if it needs intervention and return to its dock. The team only needs to check tanks, consumables and occasional incidents.

How much does the KLEENBOT C40 cost?

The price is on request and depends on the configuration and acquisition model. Available to buy or as RaaS / OpEx Flow with a monthly fee. Request a free assessment for a proposal with estimated ROI.
